Good day, I am Mike and I have been graciously allowed to join, even though I live in BC   ;)

I seem to fail at being able to attach a pic of my Bimmers.....good thing I'm at work and I'll have time to sort it out :)

Finally.....now it works.  All space grey.  I am too cheap to have to buy more than one touch up color.

We're all adults here!

I love your collection.
I just picked up a 135 project today.  We'll see what I decide to do with it.  I'm sure my wife wouldn't like the idea of me having 2 garage queens :)

Hey All,

Ian here from Edmonton.

I drive an 09 323i, currently saving for an 08-09 135i.

I've added BMW Perf. intake + exhaust to my 323, tune & M3 steering wheel with retrofitted paddles as well as a few other odds and ends.

I have a background in vehicle electronics, specifically aftermarket electronics integration/installation and have 5+ years experience working with electrical systems so if you have questions feel free to ask, I'll do my best to help.

I also have experience coding my own vehicle, its a fairly simple process. If you need the software to properly code your BMW let me know, I have all the latest patches/daten files & software + English fixes. On second though, I'll post up a topic with a link to download it.

Thanks! It makes the A/T sooo much more fun to drive. Really easy to do too, I highly recommend it!

Steering wheel --> Brand new, manufacture date March 2013, off eBay. $672 (dealer price, about $1385)
Trim, new --> Dealer $216 (can re use sport wheel trim, but it will be different)
Multifunction buttons, new --> Dealer (carry over if you have the sport wheel), $152 (Dealer price $180)
Airbag, used --> eBay, 2011 328i sport. (carries over if you have the sport wheel) $351 (dealer price ~900)

Total spent: ~1400.

If you have the sport wheel/airbag all you need is the m3 wheel. If you have the flat/ugly wheel like I do/did 1400 is a pretty competitive price.

I'll put together a DIY if you're interested.
