Hopefully Not a silly question
« on: February 13, 2014, 05:06:55 PM »
Well... im really not knowledgeable about this... But i will throw the question none the less...

I realized that an 09 m3 has wider set of front tires and rear tires than a stock e92.  The question is there enough body and undercarriage difference why the m3 can fit bigger and wider wheels than an e92?  This is aside from the suspension that i believe is much much stiffer in m3.

thanx...

Correct. The rears are also wider too. If you look at say an e92 m3. And a regular e92 you can see the fenders and quarter panels flare out a bit

Fender flares on M3s to allow for larger tires/camber adjustment. Dat track toy.
