Reliable Mechanic in Edm?
« on: July 01, 2014, 09:30:16 AM »
Does anyone know of a reliable mechanic who works on BMW's in the Edm area and charges reasonable rates?
I am able to do a bit of tinkering on my 01 325i, but my knowledge and experience goes so far...and then I'm left sweating and
frustrated! I'm nearly 60 so I'm not as agile as I used to be.
Any help would be appreciated!
Kevin

There are a few guys.
I heard Alberta motorwerks is pretty good.
There's eurasia, but they're usually more expensive than the dealer.

Eurasia is less expensive than the dealerships, but close.

Triska Auto is another, run by Dan Triska, currently SE of Beaumont, but moving closer soon.

I had purchased some parts from Rockauto but found it too difficult to install them myself. The guy from Triska said he would not install parts that he had not purchased. In the end someone recommended Ital Motors who are located Downtown by the RAH. They did all the work and did a great job at short notice so I'll be taking my car there in future..Thanks for the tips though!
