General Technical / engine light on
« on: April 07, 2014, 10:28:28 PM »
can anyone elaborate on those codes please
4595 - smoothness control cylinder 6
4596 - smoothness control cylinder 3
4C04 - exhaust gas temperature
436D - unknown DTC fault

I am new to all of that BMW issue thing, I do have some issues and awaiting the computer to be replaced but dealer allowed me to drive the car which allowed me to read the codes.  I know they did replace one injector and mass air flow sensor and some sensor for EGR I think, no paper work yet and I don't remember all they have told me over the period of time.  They also did the walnut blasting.  The car drives nicely, just did my first trip in it back to fort mac and it was awesome but the service light came back on.

Support/Suggestion Requests / pop up notification when you are log in

hey guys, not sure if anyone has the same issue or is it just me.  Those pop up notifications (not sure about exact proper name for it) that notify you that someone made a comment on some topic, they come up and disappear very fast, any way to set them to stay up little longer??  I am not sure if it is me and my slow reading skills but most time I don't even have the time to read what it says :) LOL

General Discussion / what is reasonable to ask for
« on: April 02, 2014, 09:28:26 AM »
so forum friends.  I am looking for some advise on what would be reasonable to ask for from my dealer.  I purchased my 335d on December 23, had it for one day, enjoyed, kids and me fall in love with the sound and power, unfortunately the same night the car went into limp mode and on 24 in am dealer came to pick up the car.  Since then wall blasting was done, air flow sensor replaced, one injector replaced and they still say they have errors.  So almost 4 months and I still don't have the car.  What would be a reasonable request to be re compensated for this prolonged delay.  They do keep me mobile by allowing me to drive the loaner so I am happy for that, I can't say that they don't take care of me but its been so long and I still don't have any positive information that the car will soon make it into my hands.  Also, if I would go there today and buy same car I would save couple of thousands as the prices have changed.  Need some help before Friday meeting with them, I don't want to be rude or anything, I still want the car but I believe I have to be re compensated in some way.   Any input would be appreciated.
