For Sale / Fs: Hamann Hm2 Wheels $400 Calgary
« on: May 29, 2014, 06:41:37 PM »
I am selling a set of Authentic Hamann HM2 wheels. 18x8.5 et38 squared setup with 5x120 bolt pattern. Comes with tpms and tires which will need to be replaced. Rims are a bit curbed but could be easily wetsanded and polished to look like new. Fits BMW e36, e46, and e92 for sure. Shoot me an offer via text but please no trades. (587)999-2690

« on: May 09, 2014, 10:10:17 PM »
Bought these online for $90 and thought I measured correctly but I guess not. They are too big to fit my car. (e46 mtech bumper) Anyways, $75 takes the set. They are the clamp on style so they fit a wide variety of sizes. Located in Calgary.
Inlet diameter is 2 3/8"
Outlet diameter is 3 3/8"
Length  7 3/4"

General Technical / e46 CEL

Ok, so e46fanatics is useless right now and can't find an answer to this...So car is throwing this code and my scanner comes up with "p1429 diagnostic module tank leakage heater malfunction"

I have searched and only found two threads on bimmerforums with no real answers. Any idea what is causing this and what the solution would be? One thread I found said could just be my gas cap being open? My cap isn't clicking when I close it, so i guess could someone also confirm if it does indeed click or not? Car has been parked all winter and I don't remember lol.

Thanks

General Discussion / e46 Auto to Manual swap.

Okay so, I have read nearly every write up on the swap and don't have a problem with the physical swap itself, but does anyone have experience with the coding aspect of things? This is where the dig's become a bit grey. Really looking to do this swap so I can go F/I.

Thanks

General Discussion / Calgary Tuning

Anyone in Alberta, preferably Calgary with e46 tuning experience? Planning on doing full bolt ons (intake, throttle body, headers, exhaust) here this summer and am thinking of doing a custom tune to maximize benefits. Thanks.

For Sale / Subs for sale?
« on: March 29, 2014, 12:12:07 AM »
Most likely not the right target audience. Anyways, maybe someone on here has a nephew or a little brother or someone in need of a wake up call, literally. Well guess what? Your in luck because I have a solution for you. Back in my days of being 16 years old driving around in my Maxima, listening to rap I was probably very similar to the person you have in mind and thought it would be cool to make my entire car vibrate. So what did I do? I went out and bought myself some subs because hey, that was the cool thing to do! Now that I have grown out of that phase (thank god) I no longer have a use for these subs anymore so they are just sitting in my house unused. To be completely serious with you now, these subs have barely been used and I was embarrassed to turn these up past minimum volume. I seriously probably turned it up loud twice. I shared the car with my mom until I got my BMW and she got her Range Rover so like I said, very very minimal use. The amplifier was attached to the inside of the trunk roof via a custom steel rack I built so it would ventilate to the best of its ability. I am asking $300 for the setup which includes absolutely everything someone would need to install subwoofers into their car except for a deck unless they have a Maxima too. Here is the link to the Kijiji ad.

Would be willing to install it for someone on the forum here free of charge if need be.

General Discussion / Decals
« on: March 23, 2014, 07:01:04 PM »
Hey everyone,

So I just spoke to a guy here in Calgary who can make decals for the forum here. What I was thinking was "AlbertaBimmers.ca" in white writing and a block type font. 1"x9" approximately. However we can order different colours and sizes if need be. In addition, the guy doing this is trying to raise money for a friend with a sick kid who is doing a fundraiser to raise money for the trip to Toronto so all profits will be going to that. I was going to order 75 to start, and more can always be ordered. If you would like to donate to the fundraiser separately let me know and I can get you some contact information.

Thanks,

Ryan

For Sale / FS: e46 D2 Coilovers Calgary
« on: February 27, 2014, 09:44:55 AM »
FS: e46 D2 coilovers. 5000km on them, looking to get $900 firm.

Just gauging interest with these, if you want them great, if not I will just put these back on my car in spring. These retail for $975 USD before shipping and duty fees. After all said and done, they cost me $1346.33 CAD. They have around 6000km on them and are in mint condition. They have been used one summer and have never seen snow. These coilovers can go "raceland" low if thats what your into while maintaing a quality ride height as it is the actual shock body that is adjusted to lower the car there for there is no preload on your spring. I never ran them this low, just slightly lower than oem sport and used factory end links. I can assure you however that you can slam your car though if you like.

Features:
36 way damping adjustable
Full ride height adjustability
Upper camber plates and pillow ball mounts
Fully rebuildable

Note, one of the dust boots on the rear shock is torn, you can pick one up for around $10.
